This canine influenza is viral and is airborne and easily spread in close contact, such as is found when dogs play together at dog parks and doggie day care. When we resume classes, please avoid nose to nose contact between dogs and if your dog has upper respiratory symptoms - cough, fever, runny nose, sneezing, etc., keep them home. Although we are not going to require the flu vaccine at this time, we strongly urge you to check with your veterinarian for his/her recommendation. Remember, the shots are not immediately effective. Classes will resume the week of May 15-19 and will be a full nine-week session. All classes starting May 15 will be with dogs. NEXT SESSION OF CLASSES
